Fry Me перетворює кулінарні відео та сторінки рецептів на рецепти з кроками й таймерами. Цей документ описує, які дані застосунок отримує, навіщо і кому їх передає.
Обліковий запис
Реєстрації немає. Під час першого запуску застосунок анонімно входить у Firebase Authentication, і встановлення отримує випадковий ідентифікатор. Ми не просимо й не зберігаємо ваше ім’я, пошту чи номер телефону. Якщо видалити застосунок, цей ідентифікатор втрачається назавжди.
Що відбувається під час імпорту
Коли ви імпортуєте рецепт, на наш сервер надходять посилання на нього, мова застосунку та ідентифікатор встановлення. Далі сервер сам відкриває цю публічну сторінку — від вашого імені, але не з вашого пристрою й без ваших кук чи входу в акаунт — і читає з неї те, що потрібно для рецепта. Що саме, залежить від джерела:
- TikTok — опис, текстові наклейки, автоматичну транскрипцію та кадри з самого відео.
- Instagram — підпис до поста, ім’я автора, обкладинку та кадри з самого відео. Приватні пости й пости лише для дорослих ми не відкриваємо.
- Facebook — текст допису, назву сторінки, що його опублікувала, обкладинку та кадри з самого відео. Лише публічні відео.
- Threads — текст допису, ім’я автора, обкладинку та кадри з відео, а також відповіді самого автора під дописом, якщо в них є частина рецепта. Якщо в дописі немає власного фото чи відео, але є вбудований пост автора з Instagram, ми читаємо його так само, як пост з Instagram. Чужі відповіді ми не читаємо. Лише публічні дописи.
- YouTube — назву, опис під відео та дрібні кадри з розкадровки, яку віддає плеєр.
- Сайт — розмітку рецепта на сторінці: назву, інгредієнти, кроки й час. Сайт побачить звичайний запит із наших серверів, а не з вашої адреси.
Прочитане ми обробляємо так:
- Ці матеріали передаються моделям OpenAI через сервіс OpenRouter, щоб скласти рецепт. Запит надсилається з вимогою не зберігати дані для навчання. Перед першим імпортом застосунок просить на це вашу згоду; відкликати її можна в Налаштуваннях («Обробка ШІ»), і без неї імпорт недоступний.
- Кадри, які стають фото кроків, зберігаються у сховищі Google Cloud Storage і доступні за непередбачуваним посиланням, щоб застосунок міг їх показати.
- Готовий рецепт кешується до 30 днів за ідентифікатором сторінки чи відео — без вашого ідентифікатора, — щоб повторний імпорт того самого посилання був миттєвим.
- Результат кожного імпорту — готовий рецепт або причина, чому його не вдалося скласти, — разом із посиланням зберігається на сервері до 24 годин під ідентифікатором вашого встановлення, а потім видаляється автоматично. Так застосунок отримає рецепт, навіть якщо ви згорнули його під час імпорту. Якщо ви попросили повідомити, коли рецепт буде готовий, ми надсилаємо push-сповіщення — і про готовий рецепт, і про невдалий імпорт. Застосунок запам’ятовує цей вибір для наступних імпортів; вимкнути його можна в Налаштуваннях («Сповіщення про імпорт»).
- Ми не логуємо тексти сторінок: те, що ви імпортуєте, — ваша справа. Посилання не потрапляє до службового журналу, але надходить у закритий Telegram-канал, який читає лише розробник, — щоб знаходити й виправляти імпорти, що не вдалися. Поруч із ним немає нічого, що вказує на вас: ні ідентифікатора встановлення, ні інших даних. У службовому журналі лишається тільки те, з якої платформи був імпорт і чи він вдався.
Окремо ми рахуємо, скільки імпортів ви зробили за поточний період, щоб застосовувати ліміти безкоштовного та платного планів. Цей лічильник прив’язаний до ідентифікатора встановлення й не містить нічого іншого.
Фото рецепта
Рецепт можна сфотографувати — сторінку книги, листівку, записку чи скриншот — або вибрати таке фото з галереї. Тоді замість посилання на наш сервер надходить саме фото, зменшене на пристрої, разом із мовою застосунку та ідентифікатором встановлення. Ліміти ті самі, що й для посилань.
- Фото передається моделям OpenAI через OpenRouter, щоб прочитати рецепт, — так само з вимогою не зберігати дані для навчання.
- Сервер не зберігає й не логує саме фото: воно існує там лише, поки триває запит. Рецепт, прочитаний із фото, до кешу не потрапляє, а як результат імпорту зберігається до 24 годин (див. вище).
- Копія фото лишається на вашому пристрої як зображення рецепта. Коли ви видаляєте рецепт, його фото зникає під час наступного запуску застосунку, а «Видалити мої дані» видаляє всі такі фото одразу.
Доступ до камери застосунок просить, лише коли ви відкриваєте її, щоб сфотографувати рецепт. Доступу до галереї він не просить: ви самі вибираєте одне фото в системному вікні, і застосунок отримує тільки його.
Текст рецепта
Рецепт можна також вставити текстом — із нотатки, повідомлення чи книги. Тоді на наш сервер надходить цей текст разом із мовою застосунку та ідентифікатором встановлення. Він передається моделям OpenAI через OpenRouter, щоб скласти рецепт, із тією самою вимогою не зберігати дані для навчання. Сервер не зберігає й не логує сам текст і не кешує рецепт із нього; як результат імпорту рецепт зберігається до 24 годин, як і для посилань. Рецепт, який вийде, лишається на вашому пристрої, як і будь-який інший.
Калорії, білки, жири й вуглеводи
Щоб оцінити харчову цінність рецепта, застосунок надсилає на наш сервер його назву, список інгредієнтів, кількість порцій і мову застосунку. Сервер передає їх моделям OpenAI через OpenRouter — так само з вимогою не зберігати дані для навчання — і кешує відповідь до 90 днів за вмістом цього списку, без вашого ідентифікатора, щоб той самий рецепт не оцінювати двічі. Окремо ми рахуємо, скільки оцінок ви зробили за день, щоб обмежити витрати; цей лічильник прив’язаний до ідентифікатора встановлення й видаляється разом з іншими даними. Сама оцінка зберігається на вашому пристрої разом із рецептом.
Ваші рецепти
Збережені рецепти, кулінарні книги, список покупок і налаштування зберігаються на вашому пристрої. Ми не маємо їх копії й не можемо їх переглянути.
Покупки
Підписку обробляє App Store або Google Play, а керує нею RevenueCat. Вони отримують ідентифікатор встановлення та чек про покупку. Платіжні дані проходять повз нас: ми ніколи не бачимо номер картки.
Аналітика, сповіщення, атрибуція
- Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics і Crashlytics — як використовують застосунок і чому він падає.
- Expo — доставляє push-сповіщення через Apple і Google, якщо ви їх дозволили, — наприклад, що рецепт готовий.
- AppsFlyer, Meta і Apple Ads — яка реклама, якщо така була, привела вас до застосунку. SDK Meta фіксує встановлення й запуски застосунку від першого відкриття; AppsFlyer починає роботу, щойно ви відповісте на системний запит про відстеження. Рекламний ідентифікатор пристрою (IDFA) вони отримують лише тоді, коли ви дозволили відстеження; якщо ні — рекламні мережі бачать результати тільки в зведеному, анонімному вигляді. Якщо ви прийшли з реклами в App Store, Apple повідомляє RevenueCat, яка це була кампанія, не називаючи вас.
Видалення даних
Усе, що ми зберігаємо, видаляється однією кнопкою в застосунку: Налаштування → Дані → «Видалити мої дані». Покроково це описано на сторінці видалення даних. Видалення застосунку теж прибирає все з пристрою. Якщо потрібна наша допомога — напишіть, відповімо протягом 30 днів.
Діти
Застосунок не призначений для дітей віком до 13 років.
Зміни
Якщо ця політика зміниться, ми оновимо дату вгорі, а про суттєві зміни повідомимо в застосунку.

Fry Me turns cooking videos and recipe pages into recipes with steps and timers. This document describes what the app receives, why, and who else sees it.
Your account
There is no sign-up. On first launch the app signs in anonymously to Firebase Authentication and the install receives a random identifier. We never ask for or store your name, email or phone number. Deleting the app loses that identifier for good.
What happens on an import
When you import a recipe, our server receives its link, your app language and your install identifier. The server then opens that public page itself — on your behalf, but not from your device and without your cookies or any sign-in of yours — and reads what the recipe needs. What that is depends on the source:
- TikTok — the caption, the on-screen text stickers, the automatic transcript and frames from the video itself.
- Instagram — the post's caption, the author's name, the cover and frames from the video itself. We do not open private or adults-only posts.
- Facebook — the post's text, the name of the Page that posted it, the cover and frames from the video itself. Public videos only.
- Threads — the post's text, the author's name, the cover and frames from the video, and the author's own replies under the post when they carry part of the recipe. When the post has no photo or video of its own but embeds an Instagram post of the author's, we read that one as we read an Instagram post. We do not read anyone else's replies. Public posts only.
- YouTube — the title, the description under the video, and the small frames from the storyboard its player serves.
- A website — the recipe markup on the page: name, ingredients, steps and times. The site sees an ordinary request from our servers, not from your address.
What we read is then handled like this:
- That material goes to OpenAI's models through the OpenRouter service to produce the recipe. The request asks providers not to retain it for training. Before your first import the app asks for your consent to this; you can withdraw it in Settings ("AI processing"), and without it import is not available.
- Frames that become step photos are stored in Google Cloud Storage and served from an unguessable URL so the app can show them.
- The finished recipe is cached for up to 30 days under the page's or video's identifier — without yours — so importing the same link again is instant.
- The outcome of every import — the finished recipe, or why there is none — is kept on our server with its link for up to 24 hours under your install identifier, then deleted automatically. That way the app still gets the recipe if you left it while the import was running. If you asked to be told when the recipe is ready, we send a push notification — whether the import worked or not. The app remembers that choice for later imports; you can turn it off in Settings ("Import notifications").
- We don't log the page's text: what you import is your business. The link stays out of our service log, but goes to a private Telegram channel only the developer reads, so imports that fail can be found and fixed. Nothing beside it points to you — not your install identifier, nor anything else. Our service log keeps only which platform an import came from and whether it worked.
Separately we count how many imports you have made in the current period, to apply the free and paid plan limits. That counter is keyed to the install identifier and holds nothing else.
Recipe photos
You can photograph a recipe — a cookbook page, a recipe card, a note or a screenshot — or choose such a photo from your library. Our server then receives the photo itself instead of a link, scaled down on your device, with your app language and your install identifier. The limits are the same as for links.
- The photo goes to OpenAI's models through OpenRouter to read the recipe, with the same request not to retain it for training.
- The server neither stores nor logs the photo itself: it exists there only while the request runs. The recipe read from it is never cached, and is kept for up to 24 hours as the import's outcome (see above).
- A copy of the photo stays on your device as the recipe's picture. When you delete the recipe, its photo is removed the next time the app starts; "Delete my data" removes every such photo at once.
The app asks for the camera only when you open it to photograph a recipe. It does not ask for your photo library: you choose a single photo in the system's own picker, and only that photo reaches the app.
Recipe text
You can also paste a recipe as text — from a note, a message or a book. Our server then receives that text, your app language and your install identifier. It goes to OpenAI's models through OpenRouter to produce the recipe, with the same request not to retain it for training. The server neither stores nor logs the text itself and does not cache the recipe made from it; as the import's outcome the recipe is kept for up to 24 hours, as for links. The recipe that comes out stays on your device, like any other.
Calories, protein, fat and carbs
To estimate a recipe's nutrition, the app sends our server its title, its ingredient list, the number of servings and your app language. The server passes them to OpenAI's models through OpenRouter — again asking providers not to retain them — and caches the answer for up to 90 days under the content of that list, without your identifier, so the same recipe is not estimated twice. Separately we count how many estimates you made today, to cap costs; that counter is keyed to the install identifier and is deleted with the rest of your data. The estimate itself is kept on your device with the recipe.
Your recipes
Saved recipes, cookbooks, your shopping list and settings live on your device. We keep no copy and cannot read them.
Purchases
The App Store or Google Play processes the subscription, and RevenueCat manages it. They receive the install identifier and the purchase receipt. Payment details never reach us: we never see a card number.
Analytics, notifications, attribution
- Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics — how the app is used and why it crashes.
- Expo — delivers push notifications through Apple and Google, if you allowed them — that a recipe is ready, for one.
- AppsFlyer, Meta and Apple Ads — which ad, if any, brought you to the app. The Meta SDK records installs and launches from the first time the app opens; AppsFlyer starts once you answer the system tracking prompt. They receive your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking; if you don't, ad networks see the results only in aggregated, anonymous form. If you came from an ad in the App Store, Apple tells RevenueCat which campaign it was, without saying who you are.
Deleting your data
Everything we hold is deleted by one button in the app: Settings → Data → "Delete my data". The delete-your-data page walks through it. Deleting the app also removes everything on the device. If you need us to help, write to us; we answer within 30 days.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above, and anything material will be announced in the app.
